·         Developed and maintained existing stored procedures and queries using T-SQL (application uses SQL-Server backend). Created complex SQL queries for aggregating and summarizing complicated financial data (for example, balancing credits/debits for patient invoices, and grouping outstanding balances in 30 day buckets by original invoice date)

·         Assisted DBA in maintenance and performance of production databases, including tracking and tuning sources of sub-optimal queries

·         Technical Lead for Phillips Publishing data warehouse, developed ETL for populating data warehouse, created data marts for client analysis.

·         Designed, developed, and maintained an application for Philip Morris to consult with vendors on ways to improve retail environments. Application written in visual basic using Active-X data objects to interface with a SQL server 7.0 database for data import, export, and reporting. Also interfaces with DTS packages, VBA for excel reports, and stored procedure calls

·         Solely developed and maintained an automated application that collects, distributes, and reports upon candidates for recruitment into the US Air Force. Application uses PGP encryption, automated scheduled FTP transfers, and VBA for Excel and Outlook automation, and generated $30,000/month in revenue for the department

·         Consulted on a similar project for the US Marine Corps, and created an application to distribute leads to USMC recruiters from a SQL-Server database to Excel, Word, and text files

·         Developed a “matchcode” algorithm for matching name/address data used department-wide for such clients as The US Marine Corps, Marriott Vacation Club, Phillips Publishing, and UnionCare. Implemented as both Visual Foxpro DLL and SQL Server 2000 Function
